Safe squares: markings and exceptions

Reference rule

UKLL casual treats stars and all starting points as shared safe spaces, allowing mixed colours without capture.

Identify the marking

Name the symbol and its location. A coloured square in an unfamiliar product should not be classified from appearance alone.

Separate two questions

Ask whether the proposed landing is legal, then ask whether it captures. Keep both questions tied to the same reference.
